Summer Training Program
Our Summer Technical Skills Program is designed to help athletes become more confident, composed, and impactful on the ball.
We'll spend the summer working on the skills that make the biggest difference in games: first touch and receiving, carrying at speed, eliminations, 3D skills, ball mastery, and finishing.
The goal isn't just to learn new skills—it's to become more effective with the ball. We want athletes carrying with confidence and purpose, attacking space, changing angles, and making quicker decisions under pressure. Through lots of repetition, individual feedback, and game-like situations, athletes will develop the habits and confidence needed to have a greater impact on the pitch.
This summer our strength and conditioning sessions will help athletes feel faster, stronger, and more stable on the pitch. With a strong focus on movement mechanics, strength that translates, and speed training to help better gear athletes for their sport. With smaller groups and a focus on individual development, this is a great opportunity for athletes to sharpen their skills, build good hockey habits, and return to the fall season as more complete players.
At Legacy, we focus on building a positive team culture and creating the right environment for our athletes to achieve growth. We want to want to ensure we're providing a safe, positive space for you all to come to each week where you feel empowered to grow, learn at your own pace, challenge yourselves, make mistakes, ask questions and enjoy coming to training as you become high level athletes. As always, we challenge our athletes to 'Be Great' both on and off the pitch.
Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions about our programming, we're always happy to talk about hockey!
